Sidney Health Center is committed to being your total healthcare facility by
providing a continuum of care from birth to end-of-life. To fulfill that promise, Sidney Health Center provides the following programs and services.
The Clinic Pharmacy is located just inside the main entrance to
Sidney Health Center and provides quick and easy pharmaceutical services for
residents of Richland County, including patients at ROI and The Lodge.
Sidney Health Center Extended Care is a 93 bed facility that offers skilled nursing, intermediate care, respite and short stays, rehabilitation, adult day service, and specialized dementia care. These services are provided with the Eden Care philosophy that states, “Life is Worth Living!”
The Acute Care facility at Sidney Health Center is licensed for 25 critical access beds. These beds are for short-term medical treatment, usually for patients suffering from an acute illness, injury, or recovering from surgery.
The Emergency Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is staffed by an on-call physician. The Emergency Department provides medical care necessary to treat a sudden illness or injury that is life threatening.
Sidney Health Center has a clinic area located directly on campus consisting of employed and independent medical providers who serve the residents of Richland County and the surrounding areas. The medical staff consists of fifteen local physicians, two family nurse practitioners, two certified registered nurse anesthetists and an audiologist.
The Foundation for Community Care is a non-profit organization that strives to ensure continuity and excellent quality of local health and medical care. The Foundation raises funds to support Sidney Health Center as well as other health and medical care needs in the area. The Good Cents Store is a second-hand retail store that is staffed by volunteers. The proceeds generated from sales at the Good Cents Store benefit patient/resident care at Sidney Health Center. The store is located at the end of East Main in Sidney. Store hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Richland County Ambulance Service is made up of volunteer EMTs and serves Richland County and the surrounding areas.
The Caring Corner is a retail gift shop that was established in 1984 by Kay Ashcraft. Proceeds from the Caring Corner Gift Shop are used to benefit patient/resident care at Sidney Health Center. The shop is regularly staffed by volunteers Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The MonDak Family Clinic and Pharmacy is an outreach service of Sidney Health Center that provides medical services to Fairview, Montana. Located at 304 South Ellery Avenue in Fairview, the clinic and pharmacy are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed Wednesdays).
Duramed, located in downtown Sidney at 214 South Central Avenue, prides itself as a wellness store offering a full line of home oxygen equipment, medical supplies and aids for independent living. Duramed is open Monday through Friday with on-call staff available for emergencies around the clock everyday.
Home Health & Hospice is a service of Sidney Health Center that provides in-home nursing care and also serves terminally ill patients in their homes by offering home care, respite, and inpatient services. The office is located on the Sidney Health Center campus.
Sidney Health Center’s Home & Community Based Services provides supportive care to caregivers and to individuals who want to remain independent in their homes but need some assistance. The office is located on the Sidney Health Center campus.
The Lodge is an assisted living facility for seniors that provides assistance with daily living activities, meals, snacks, activities,transportation, medication assistance, and concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance services. The facility is located at 1015 7th Avenue Southwest in Sidney. http://www.lodgeatlonetree.org/
HealthWorks, a fitness center that is managed by Sidney Health Center, offers expanded services, including aerobic exercise classes, personal work-out programs, personal training, and two courts for racquetball or walleyball. HealthWorks is conveniently located on the Sidney Health Center campus on the corner of 12th Avenue and 4th Street. http://www.sidneyhealthworks.org
The Richland Health Network is a unique partnership
between Sidney Health Center, the Richland County Health Department, and the Richland County Commission on Aging to address health issues in one coordinated effort. Phone: (406) 433-6946
Communities In Action is a community-based system that is working to address health issues through local collaboration. Sidney Health Center is a member of the Steering Committee of this organization and also hosts a Communities In Action Americorps VISTA. http://www.communitiesinactionmt.com
