Amie Schillinger joins Sidney Health Center as a Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedics. With over 20 years of medical experience, Amie has dedicated her career to helping patients maintain mobility and lead active, healthy lives. Born and raised in eastern Montana, she developed a passion for healthcare from a deep desire to help others feel their best. Beginning her career as a nurse and eventually becoming a physician assistant, Amie discovered her true calling in orthopedics, where she thrives on assisting patients in regaining their strength and mobility.
Amie has worked in orthopedic urgent care and emergency department settings, and she is well-versed in assisting with surgeries and inpatient rounding. Her addition to the orthopedic team has improved appointment availability, allowing us to serve our patients more efficiently.
After spending almost seven years in Missoula, Amie and her family are excited to return to Sidney. Her husband, Jace, is a football coach, and their journey across Montana and North Dakota has been filled with many wonderful adventures. Now back in eastern Montana, the Schillinger family is happy to be closer to relatives and ready to engage with the local community. Amie and Jace have three children—Lola, Grady, and Vaida—along with a beloved dog and two cats.
Outside of work, Amie is an avid sports enthusiast, often found following her kids' sporting activities or cheering for Sidney Eagle Football and Montana Grizzly athletics. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and loves running and hiking. Her background as a lifeguard in high school and college underscores her lifelong connection to fitness and well-being.
For Amie, joining Sidney Health Center represents not just a professional opportunity but a chance to make a meaningful impact in the community she calls home. If you'd like to schedule an appointment with Amie Schillinger, please contact the Sidney Health Center Orthopedic Clinic at 406-488-2277.
