Counseling

Nutrition Services offers out-patient nutrition counseling provided by Licensed and Registered Dietitians. Services are referral-based; however, anyone who requests nutritional assistance may obtain a referral from their healthcare provider.

Based on your individual needs, counseling sessions offer an opportunity to learn how your eating habits affect your health. The dietitian is a resource to provide reliable information and to help guide you in developing a plan to meet your goals.

Diabetes Education

While nutrition management sessions cover all topics as needed, diabetes education is provided through Sidney Health Center's Diabetes Education. Services available include:

• Comprehensive Self-Management Training
• Individual Self-Management Training
• One-on-One Medical Nutrition Therapy
• Continuous Glucose Monitoring
