Papka Completes Workforce Solutions Certificate Program
Sidney Health Center is thrilled to announce that Melissa Papka, Executive Assistant, has successfully completed the Workforce Solutions Certificate Program. This initiative, a partnership with Miles City Community College, ran from fall 2022 to spring 2024 and is designed for outstanding employees whose achievements and core values uphold our I CARE Standards.
Throughout the two-year program, Melissa demonstrated remarkable dedication. In her first year, she excelled in courses such as Interpersonal Communication and Intro to Business Writing. The second year included successful completion of Medical Terminology and a chosen elective from the pre-approved online course catalog.
During her educational journey, Melissa received guidance and regular check-ins from a Navigator at Miles City Community College. In recognition of her sustained achievements and maintaining a grade average of C or better, she was awarded an educational stipend at the end of each semester.
Currently, five other Sidney Health Center employees are engaged in this program, having been nominated by their Department Directors. They will be starting their third semester this fall. Throughout their journey, Melissa has played a pivotal role as a mentor, providing encouragement and significantly influencing their success with her inspiring and motivating presence.
We congratulate Melissa on her achievement and look forward to seeing the positive impact of her advanced skills and knowledge on our organization.
